The Interface Switch allows users to connect to boom sense lines so Site Mate and/or Guide Mate will only log data when the booms are turned on. 

 

This switch can work with any GPS receiver that has a serial port output cable and outputs NMEA0183 data.  If using a CF GPS Receiver attached to a Pocket PC, the GPS port on the Interface Switch will not be needed.

Interface Switch Includes:
  • GPS serial port for basic GPS connection.
  • iPAQ serial port for connecting to a Pocket PC, RAM Mount, Otterbox Mount, TitanRH, or TitanRT.  If using this with a Pocket PC, a iPAQ to GPS cable or RAM Mount is needed.
  • Red Wire- Attaches to a 12 volt implement switch (when 12 volts is received on this, Site Mate and/or Guide Mate will log data).
  • Black Wire- Connects to ground.
