Farm Works Software® will be hosting a training class in Fargo, ND on January 16-17, 2014.  This is a great opportunity to learn how to better utilize the software while networking with other users at the same time.

Laptops are welcome, but not required.  If you are bringing your own laptop, please make sure you have the latest version of software installed and registered prior to attending.

This class is designed as a comprehensive class for people who are both new to Farm Works Mapping, as well as long-time users who want to be refreshed and see what is new. Topics covered will depend on the overall needs of the class.

Basic mapping topics include:
• Setting up Clients, Farms, Fields, Supplies, Equipment, and Employees
• Entering Field Records and Printing Reports
• Importing Road, Waterway data, and Imagery from the Internet
• Importing Soil Maps, Imagery, and Boundaries from other sources
• Drawing/Importing Field Boundaries using Planting Data, Images, or Mobile
• Creating and Importing Field Records
• Importing Monitor Maps, Merging, and Splitting Data

Advanced mapping topics include:
• Using Farm Works to Analyze Yield Data including by Crop Variety
• Creating VRA Maps from multiple Data Sources in Mapping
• Importing Soil Test Results
• Creating VRA Maps using Formulas
• Working with Trimble Guidance Line Features

Connected Farm topics include:
• Using Mobile and Connected Farm to Create Field Records
• Drawing Field Boundaries and Logging Points in Mobile and Connected Farm Scout
• New! Connected Farm Dashboard
